TORONTO, ON – November 21st, 2019 – The Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) is proud to announce and welcome Jim Leworthy as Vice President of Development. Jim will be responsible for the administration of the Ontario Lacrosse Association’s Quest for Gold program coordinator, Team Ontario program coordinator and OLA In-School program coordinator. He will also play an assisting role for volunteer recruitment and long-term planning at the association level by examining grass roots, house league and fundamental development opportunities for lacrosse programs throughout the province.

Jim comes to the OLA with many years of involvement and energy in minor and junior box lacrosse clubs. Following his playing career, he coached a team for the West Mall Lacrosse Association before serving in the Southern Etobicoke Lacrosse Association (SELA) as vice-president, referee and coach from 1969 to 1976.
